Spent a week in Istanbul for Fashion week and seeing exhibitions.

The Doll Snaps book has just come out. It’s by Graphic-sha.

It was neat to be invited to contribute 20 photos to this project. It’s a cute book, definitely worth picking up.

The photos have been edited in an intelligent sequence, it follows a sort of vague visual narrative.

In 2008 I shot the cover for their Dolly*Dolly17 issue, which also includes an 8 page pictorial of my old atelier and apartment. It holds sentimental value for me, a time capsule from a much simpler, innocent time in my life.

so ok. what i absolutely love [obsess] about human hair, is that it’s changeable like the weather and the moods. Here she sits all curled and properly flipped, two days later however, humidity on the Bosphorus, made the curl looser and sexier. Look at the previous post. A++

As soon as I get back, I’m getting this cheap little camera and will start making vlog-y videos, mostly in the bathtub. I have this very original idea, that if I put it in a good ziplock or something, I can also do underwater sequences. Why don’t they make waterproof iPhones, dammit.
